We are pleased to announce long-serving WGA employees Rick Penfold and Nathan Silby have been appointed to the Board of Directors. As our Group Accountant, Rick is the first member of the Board who is not from an engineering background.
Rick joined WGA in 2004 having emigrated from the UK. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1999, he spent 11 years with a major ‘big 4’ bank in the UK, and in senior roles with a 3D CAD/CAM software provider and a national pension company. Rick oversees Finance and Administration in the WGA offices across Australia.
Nathan is a Civil Engineer with over 20 years’ industry experience, the last 10 of which has been with WGA. Nathan has a Master’s in Business Administration and is a recognised expert in Urban Water Management including Aquifer Storage & Recovery (ASR), Stormwater Harvesting and Wastewater Reuse Schemes, providing sustainable irrigation solutions for communities across the country.
