Vivid Light transforms Sydney into a wonderland of light art sculptures, light installations and grand-scale projections during the months of May and June. Freedom of movement is an installation which comes to life through a set of five 3m high swings that fuse colour, light, sound and motion at the foot of the Harbour Bridge.

WGA was engaged by Simple Motion to design and certify the steel framing for the exhibition which involved the analysis of the steel framing to resist sway from an offset motor and avoid uplift on an uneven ground surface without any additional footings.

During daylight hours, the swings are available for public use as a temporary playground. Click on the link provided to see the swings in motion.
