2019 saw a second cohort of staff from across our offices participate in WGA’s Leadership Development Program. A core tenet of WGA’s Strategic Plan is to develop the leadership capability and capacity of our people, to ensure we are able to meet current and emerging needs of the business. After the success of the inaugural program in 2018, the program was rolled out again with 20 new participants split into four working project groups and led by facilitators George Siokos and Peter Hobart. The program was developed specifically for WGA and included workshop modules and professional coaching and mentoring. Each group was assigned a business challenge and tasked with recommending a solution. It culminated recently with presentations by the project groups to our Board of Directors, with recommendations and strategies for improvement.
