Earlier this year we finished our first project in Doha, Qatar!

We provided civil and structural design services for two new playgrounds in the gardens of the recently opened National Museum of Qatar. The first playground, ‘The Cave of Wonders’ replicates a naturally occurring sinkhole and the second ‘Adventure Ship’ is a deconstructed Dhow, a traditional wooden boat used for trade and pearling once common throughout the region.

The playground was designed in Adelaide by Taylor Cullity Lethlean and incorporates cultural patterns and natural landscapes to encourage physical and cognitive play. The new museum is destined to become one of the most important cultural features in the country’s capital.
