WGA would like to congratulate Peter McBean, our Joint Managing Director, who is the recipient of the prestigious 2020 John Connell Gold Medal awarded by Engineers Australia.
Peter has been recognised for his outstanding contribution to the structural engineering profession throughout his career both in Australia and through his work overseas.
Peter is recognised as an industry expert in structural and seismic engineering and has published many journal articles and conference papers on the topic. Recently, Peter was also the joint recipient of the R W Chapman Medal for a paper on seismic design.
