Redevelopment of Rottnest Island Fuel Jetty

This crucial piece of marine infrastructure has addressed accessibility whilst upgrading power and water outlets, new finger jetties and enhanced refuelling for smaller vessels.

With durability a key concern of the new design, the jetty features an innovative stainless steel deck atop a more conventional steel piled substructure, and a durable Fibre Reinforced Polymer grated deck designed to last the 50 year design life with minimal maintenance.

The $3m project opened to the community in the peak of summer and will provide recreational boating facilities for decades to come.
