Towering above the streets, the 350-tonne mobile crane was used to lift discrete sections of a Tower Crane approximately 100m into the air, atop the Casino building.
With a focus on collaboration, WGA engaged with crane owners and construction personnel to provide heavy lifting expertise throughout the initial planning stages of the project
to ensure a safe lift plan was generated. Onsite heavy lifting expertise added greater value on the ground along with on-site traffic management.
From one project to another, a well-established relationship with Patrick Terminals has led to a third-party review of their latest ship-to-shore (STS) container cranes, imported
from Irish based manufacturer Liebherr. The review was undertaken to Australian Standards, covering mechanical, structural and electrical disciplines. In addition, we provided
Project Management and Engineering Services associated with discharge, assembly and transportation of the fully assembled STS cranes.
Both projects were successfully delivered from our new Brisbane office, showcasing local presence, with a national reach.
