Our venture into the eastern states began with acquiring Victorian civil consulting firm LDC Engineers in January 1998. Our Melbourne office is now our second largest with over 115 staff and has recently celebrated its 25th successful year!
The growth of W&G took off when Melbourne Director Cameron Jackson saw a W&G job ad in the paper seeking senior structural engineers and decided to join David Allen to expand our structural service offering.
From South Melbourne Primary School and The Espy to St John of God and the award-winning Micasa8 – the Victorian team have been providing multidisciplinary solutions across a broad range of sectors and services and has become a significant player in the delivery of civil infrastructure and building projects across Victoria.
One of the first official W&G projects in the Victorian market was a package of structural bridge inspections for Vic Roads. Since then, we have continued to work on State Government infrastructure projects across Victoria and have recently completed two projects for Major Road Projects Victoria.
In the coming year, we will continue to grow our exciting Infrastructure offering, utilising our broad capabilities in civil, structural, traffic, geotechnical and temporary works services.
