A leader creates opportunities for others to grow

Join us in congratulating Mario who has recently joined the Senior Associate squad.

Mario joined WGA two and half years ago and leads the Transport Traffic (Bridges) Sector and Infrastructure Team for Victoria. His 28 years of industry experience is a significant contributor to developing the Infrastructure Team in Victoria and the industry brand awareness of WGA. His efforts saw Victoria expanding the client base of Government Institutions such as VicRoads (i.e. Proof Engineering, pavement design).

As a leader, enabling his team to grow is one of the top priorities for Mario.

“Being a Senior Associate is an opportunity to reflect on my role in the business, and what the team has achieved. It is a reminder to make sure that I’m creating pathways for others to develop and be recognised for their contribution” he shared.

“Building the team and creating awareness of our skills and capabilities has been a key highlight over the last 12 months. From industry partnerships with the likes of Major Road Projects Victoria and Roads Australia to supporting the professional growth of the team” says Mario.

Mario is a Fellow of Roads Australia, CPEng, NER, and MIEAust Engineers Australia. His industry expertise is well regarded in the executive level at both MRPV and Department of Transport and Planning.
