While elsewhere, ‘three’s a crowd’, at Nazareth, the trio of campuses brings collaboration, growth, and modern facilities together across Findon, Flinders Park, and Kidman Park to meet the educational needs of western Adelaide.
Building new futures for our community is always an exciting prospect, and it’s great to realise it through projects like Nazareth’s, where we contributed to all three campus developments.
The new 75-million-dollar Kidman Park Campus, for which we provided structural and civil engineering services, stands on a vast 2.6-hectare site. The impressive two-story building covering a spacious area of over 9,700 square metres, with multiple interconnected zones, comes with contemporary learning areas, including student hubs, technology spaces, STEM facilities, performing art and music suites, outdoor green spaces, double court gymnasium and fitness facilities, a café and much more.
The project’s schedule, which involved the simultaneous design, site demolition, and construction phases, presented multiple curveballs that tested our strengths. But the project team’s proactive approach ensured a smooth construction and handover process while upholding superior design and construction quality. Additionally, the project incorporated stormwater design elements focused on Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD).
