With a career spanning two decades across Australia and the UK, Andrew was integral to the establishment of WGA’s Newcastle business in 2022.

Having studied a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) and a Bachelor of Surveying at the University of Newcastle, he started out locally in New South Wales before moving to England, where he worked on high-profile projects including part of the expansion of London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 and Manchester airport Terminal 1 check-in.

Returning to Australia, he built up experience in the resources sector, where he led a team of civil, structural and asset engineers, along with multidisciplinary engineering design teams.

As Regional Lead, Andrew is focused on building local capability to support clients across Newcastle, the surrounding Hunter Valley and the broader New South Wales region. He brings a wealth of experience coupled with local knowledge to support the growth in the state’s second largest city.
