As a Senior Principal Civil and Traffic Engineer specialising in Roads, Transport and Urban Development Heath’s in-depth knowledge extends to almost every facet of engineering including strategic planning, feasibility studies, concept and detailed design, construction and project management, project coordination and administration, cost estimation, investigation and project analysis.

From early in his career, Heath worked with the State Government Road Authority and has had a variety of roles in local Government and private industry working across all aspects of road and traffic planning, design and construction. A senior team member in some of South Australia’s largest road projects, including upgrading of South Road from the River Torrens to the Torrens Road and the South Expressway Duplication, Heath’s recent traffic roles include the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, the North Terrace Biomedical Precinct, and high-rise apartment developments in the Adelaide CBD.

Working on small, medium and large-scale projects always provides Heath with new challenges and learning opportunities, including being able to collaborate with a broad cross section of industry stakeholders. Heath most enjoys seeing projects come to life, from conception to completion, and gets a particular sense of satisfaction seeing projects operating in their entirety.
