James Davidson

With 27 years’ experience in base metals, from early test work through pilot operations, commercialisation, production, IP protection and project management, James has the experience to guide projects from conception through to operation.

James has worked as a site-based metallurgist and operated pilot plant facilities at uranium, copper and antimony production sites in the Northern Territory, Queensland and South Australia as well in the USA and Middle East.

An experienced mining professional, he has extensive experience in developing and managing; test work programs; flow sheet and plant design; pilot plant design and construction; and project evaluation across a broad range of projects.

He has worked on numerous operational sites including Mt Gordon Copper Mine, Ranger Uranium and Beverley Uranium. And for seven years, undertook the role of Chief Metallurgist for Urtek where he undertook concept development, testwork management in house and with third parties, the design and operation of a several pilot plant program and managed the patent development and IP protection.
