Mark Gobolos
Principal Structural Engineer

Mark has over fifteen years’ experience as a consulting structural engineer with WGA, and is the current Vice President of the Concrete Institute of Australia’s South Australian branch.

As a Lead Project Engineer, Mark has built a reputation for successfully delivering complex, large scale projects on time and within budget including major healthcare, commercial, educational, industrial and high-rise residential projects. He particularly enjoys the challenges and rewards associated with detailed architectural building projects and the collaborative environment these require. Mark has lead and supervised all his projects through concept, detailed design, construction and commissioning phases.

In his role as Lead Structural Design Engineer for the New Royal Adelaide Hospital’s superstructure and site supervision components, Mark was heavily involved in the development of seismically rated anchors for the Australian market and followed through on innovations in design.

He also contributes his time to the University of South Australia, Flinders University, Adelaide University and Prince Alfred College to promote the engineering profession amongst students.
