A Civil Engineer with over 20 years’ industry experience, Nathan has a Masters in Business Administration and is a recognised expert in Urban Water Management, including Aquifer Storage & Recovery (ASR), Stormwater Harvesting Scheme Development and Wastewater Reuse Schemes.
With a passion for Urban Water Management, Nathan has dedicated his career to providing sustainable water improvement solutions. A core strength is his capacity to future-proof today’s projects for tomorrow. His long-term vision and innate ability to think outside the square, combined with a holistic mindset and practical approach, provides clients with systematic solutions that exceed expectations.
Nathan credits the development of Aquifer Storage & Recovery (ASR) projects in South Australia as being career-accelerating projects for him. From feasibility and concept development through to execution, commission and handover, this project was instrumental in developing his skills in design, implementation, risk management, approval and operation.
Nathan has extensively applied his expertise to many significant projects across the state and considers his contribution towards the Waterproofing schemes in both the North, East and West of Adelaide to be the most impactful. Since 2007 Nathan has had a vision to facilitate a more sustainable system for recycling, water storage and recovery. Some ten years later with the connection of these schemes across Adelaide, he is confident that his vision will be fulfilled.
Nathan has had extensive involvement with the development of wastewater reuse schemes over the past 20 years, having been involved with the development or strategic review in over 50 schemes in South Australia.
Recognised as a specialist in Urban Water Management, Nathan has re-written wastewater standards for the Department of Health SA and also contributes his time to mentoring University students and young engineers.

- USHOS – Urban Stormwater Harvesting Opportunity Study, which formed the basis of the State Governments Stormwater reuse component of the Water for Good Strategy.
