BHP Quattro Townhouses
Quattro Apartments and Townhouses is a residential development for BHP in South Hedland. This development includes a three-storey apartment building, with offices and commercial space on the ground floor and an additional 55 two-storey townhouses.
The upper floor of the townhouses was constructed as prefabricated modules in Perth at the same time the insitu ground floor footings and framing was constructed. This allowed the townhouses to be built within the tight timeframe required. Both the apartments and townhouses have been designed to withstand windborne debris impact during a cyclone, ensuring the residents are safe in this cyclone-prone area.
