WGA provided civil and structural engineering for the refurbishment of the historic 23rd Street Distillery in Renmark, South Australia.
The site, now owned by the Bickford's Group, underwent a $6 million transformation. The centrepiece of the distillery, the Still Tower, has been refurbished with new distillation equipment, elevated walkways and a mezzanine control room and laboratory.The tasting room is behind the old façade with a new roof structure of recycled timber modelled on historic trusses elsewhere in the complex.
Landscaped lawns and an internal courtyard complete the redevelopment of this 100 year old distillery.
