Kruti Patel Water Lead - NT
DWN
Kruti is a problem solver by nature. She studied Environmental Engineering with a desire to help limit the impact of human activities on the natural environment. She has more than 15 years of experience in water infrastructure planning and design, including working on new water and sewer assets in remote communities for the NT Power and Water Corporation. Projects where she’s improving levels of service and supporting growth and development in remote communities are ones she names as especially rewarding. She has a particular talent for examining a project’s detail, then viewing it as a whole system to spot bottlenecks and develop effective, workable solutions.
Kruti is also passionate about contributing to industry development, whether it’s by mentoring new graduates, or being part of industry associations. She’s currently the NT Branch President of the Australian Water Association, and Member of the Engineers Australia Northern Division’s Women in Engineering Committee.
