Mark joined WGA in 2003 and has developed a reputation for successfully delivering complex, large-scale building projects on time and within budget. Mark has developed unique expertise in delivering facilities with critical post-disaster functions (Importance Level 4), and major health and research facilities.
He particularly enjoys the challenges associated with detailed architectural building projects with three of his major projects awarded the prestigious Jack McConnell Award for Public Architecture in South Australia.
In 2021, Mark joined the Board of WGA, bringing his background in building structures sectors, digital and information technologies, experience as WGA’s Group Technical Manager, a sound history of continuous improvement initiatives, and expertise in implementing strategic change.
Mark has actively supported the greater structural engineering profession through guest lecturing at Universities and writing papers for and presenting at various industry conferences and events. Mark was a member of the Concrete Institute of Australia’s SA Committee from 2015-2021, serving as President between 2017-2019. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and a graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.

- $80m South Australian Emergency Response Headquarters (IL4 Facility), Keswick SA
- $45m University of South Australia M2 Building & Plasso, Mawson Lakes SA (Jack McConnell Award)
- $40m Salisbury Community Hub, Salisbury SA (Jack McConnell Award)
- $35m St Andrews Hospital, Eastern Clinical Development, Adelaide SA
