Zac Sibenaler has over 35 years’ experience as a hydrogeologist specialising in groundwater resource assessment, development and management. He has extensive management and consulting experience in Australia, North Africa and South America, the latter as manager of the Chile office of an international company specializing in water supply, mining hydrology and water related environmental aspects.
He has extensive experience in Managed Aquifer Recharge studies in urban, rural and mine development settings, particularly Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) applications. He has been involved in ASR investigations since the mid 1980’s, was the inaugural Chair of the South Australia Artificial Recharge Coordinating Committee and has presented at numerous ASR short courses nationally and internationally, under the auspices of the Australian Centre for Groundwater Studies.
Since 2016 he provides a consulting service through WGA.
