As the most recent addition to the WGA Board, Karina Collins is a trusted advisor, strategist, transformation leader, and a highly recognised Non-Executive Director with over 25 years of experience across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific.

Known for empowering organisations of all sizes to achieve sustainable growth, Karina provides the WGA Board with independent oversight, strategic clarity, and a deep understanding of value creation.

She is a trusted advisor across healthcare, consulting, and the private, public, and community sectors, with senior leadership experience at KPMG, EY, Deloitte, and BDO, and strong board credentials spanning BDO Queensland, Princess Alexandra Hospital Foundation, Playgroup Australia, and Carers Queensland.

A recognised thought leader and educator, Karina is Co-Founder and Director of the Queensland Futures Institute, where she connects over 150 C-suite leaders to drive initiatives in deep tech, energy transition, and workforce development, while also contributing to the University of Queensland Business School and shaping national strategies in AI, ESG, and future workforce models.

With a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and certifications in AICD, Lean Six Sigma, and IMD Business School, Karina combines strategic acumen with operational excellence. She is a member of Chief Executive Women and a passionate advocate for leadership diversity.

Karina is based in Brisbane and is a proud mother of two. She balances her professional pursuits with interests in art, travel, netball, and coastal living, embodying a dynamic blend of intellect, empathy, and energy.
