Team Vista is a not-for-profit organisation operating out of Adelaide, Melbourne and Moshi, Tanzania. Its main focus is to assist a poverty-stricken community in Moshi, Tanzania. Caroline Mosha of WGA is one of the directors and founders of the organisation. In an effort to raise funds for Team Vista, WGA staff held the event ‘Mama Jumbo for Moshi’, which included several local musicians and comedians including Hit 107’s Amos Gill and the Latin-American inspired 8-piece Los Callejeros. The event was a great success raising over $1000. Since 2012 WGA has been sponsoring two staff members each year to work as volunteers in Tanzania for one month. October of this year Michael O’Flaherty and Joel Brown will be heading over to Tanzania where one of the main focuses during their visit will be to improve hygiene and sanitation at the local school, Kaloleni Primary School, through building a simple septic/soakage system.
