Since 2005, WGA has been providing ongoing engineering support and third party independent design verification to Patrick Terminals, who have been importing Ship-to-Shore (STS) Cranes from the global manufacturer ZPMC.
WGA is currently providing structural, mechanical, electrical and access compliance verification for the very first Automated Rail Mounted Gantry (ARMG) Cranes to be imported by Patrick into Australia later this year. To assist with the verification, the ZPMC principal design team and key Patrick personnel have been in the WGA Adelaide office over the last week participating in a three day review workshop.
This was a great opportunity for WGA to meet face to face with ZPMC to further develop our working relationship and continue to refine our effective communication methods, while building up a considerable in-house knowledge base on the type of crane designs produced by ZPMC.
