In a step to continuously improve our design practices, Senior Civil Engineer Emma Hendy and Senior Water Engineer Helen McGettigan have received accreditation as Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professionals (ISAP) by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA).
ISCA is a member-based, not-for-profit body operating in Australia and New Zealand. The Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating system is recognised across Australia and New Zealand as an industry tool to drive sustainability in major infrastructure projects.
Achieving ISAP accreditation involves training in the application of the IS rating system to demonstrate sustainability in major infrastructure projects. This enhances our in-house capability to assist our clients to deliver successful outcomes for projects undergoing an IS rating. It also builds on our existing understanding of the requirements from experience on major projects including the Torrens Road to River Torrens project (T2T) which was South Australia’s first project to achieve a ‘Leading’ As Built IS rating.
WGA is proud to have this capability within our team. Invested in providing opportunities for our people and our clients, we look forward to implementing innovative and sustainable solutions across our projects.
