Our venture to the Northern Territory began as Rodeghiero Fong & Partners Pty Ltd (RFP) in 1997 before partnering with W&G in 2002. RFP's first project was a structural inspection on a blockwork wall at Gardens Hill for a whopping fee of $90. The cheque was framed and never cashed!

The original link between RFP and W&G was created in the early '90s when Bede Rodeghiero and Mario Macri worked together at an Adelaide-based consultancy. Bede eventually moved on to set up RFP in Darwin, and Mario moved across to work with Geoff Wallbridge at W&G. In 2000, Geoff was looking for someone to carry out structural inspections in Darwin, and the working relationship with RFP was born. After completing several successful projects together, W&G RFP (now WGA RFP) was created.

Darwin delivered solely structural engineering projects until 2012 when Rory came on board and created a civil team. The team's expertise now spans civil, structural, water, infrastructure, defence and electrical disciplines.

With a team of 33, the team get to work in some of Australia's top tourist destinations, including the $17.5 million Litchfield Central Valley Project – new campgrounds at Litchfield National Park….. no wonder they are top on the list for our interoffice exchange program!
