Instrumental in building our Queensland Office, we introduce Baden Harrison who did just that, topping it off with WGA’s Senior Associate badge of honour.
Baden joined WGA over 7 years ago and his greatest responsibility has been to enter an entirely new market and build a brand-new team to achieve the development goals set forth in the WGA strategic plan.
To Baden it meant many things. At times, it was about starting from scratch and taking learnings from previous WGA ventures to ensure success. Other times it was about being a role model to the WGA team, showing them that the right attitude, work rate and calculated risk taking is valued and rewarded at WGA.
“Becoming a Senior Associate at WGA, to me, is an acknowledgement of continual learning and development, cultural alignment and work ethic. I hope my family, leaders, colleagues and team members that have supported me over the journey also take pride in this acknowledgement. Without them, none of what we achieve would be possible,” he shared.
His extensive structural engineering, design management and regional leadership background has made Baden an integral contributor to the Executive Leadership Team. He has taken the recently established New South Wales office under his wing to support their growth and team building activities. He plans to continually development the Queensland and New South Wales team and markets. He established the Defence Sector work in Western Australia and remains active in the Defence industry network.
With some big-ticket items on his list, you will no doubt see Baden around!
