CBH Brookton Expansion

Big news for the agricultural industry! WGA is proud to announce our appointment as lead engineering designers for a major expansion project at the CBH Brookton site.

CBH is expanding its Brookton site, growing its infrastructure to support the receival, storage and out loading of grain. The site currently boasts 10 open bulkheads, three CS2000 units, and a mix of horizontal storage (G-type and D-type) alongside four over-rail bins.

Working with CBH Group, this fixed loading facility project aims to improve out loading speed and direct out loading storage capacity. Once complete, it will reduce train turnaround times, improve efficiency in rail operations and improve safety with less manual handling and truck movements during out loading operations.

To get the product out the door and stockpile enough for a full trainload, we’re bringing in the big guns: 2 x 5000-tonne V-bottom silos, a high-powered bucket elevator with its own tower and bunker, and a network of elevated conveyor galleries (think skybridge for materials!) to keep everything flowing smoothly.

Unlocking new potential for CBH’s Brookton facility, our multi-disciplinary engineers will be bringing their expertise across Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation and Communications, and Control Systems to the table.
