WGA’s first batch of Elevate participants

It’s not all hard work and no play for our two early career professional cohorts who are celebrating their success following a 1 ½ day workshop and team building event in Adelaide.
Our first group of 30 – WGA’s newest Elevate Program crew, took part in a variety of sessions focused on developing key skills, including public speaking, pitching, client engagement, expectation management, and project planning—skills best cultivated in a face-to-face setting! The day was capped off with a Dolphin Cruise on the Port River followed by a group dinner, fostering both professional growth and meaningful connections.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, another group of 15 shining stars took part in an experiential activity, designed to reinforce key learnings from the past 18 months of the three-year Elevate Program. This workshop included core professional skills including client engagement and project management, as well as insights from business leaders who shared their experiences and discussed career development. The session wrapped up with an adventurous Adelaide Oval Roof Climb, followed by a group dinner, creating a memorable mix of learning and team bonding.
