Appointment of Darren Russ

WGA is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Russ as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO).  

Darren brings over 35 years of experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and systems transformation. His career encompasses leadership roles at Accenture and Enrite Solutions, as well as senior leadership engagements with major national Australian organisations. He also served as Chief Operating Officer for the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide, providing him with a unique perspective on integrating operational excellence with digital innovation.

Darren is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and recently completed a 7-year tenure as a Non-Executive Director for Anglicare SA, serving on the board’s Finance and Risk Committees and providing coaching to the CIO. Additionally, he is a Justice of the Peace for South Australia.
