Belinda Mann Group Work Health, Safety (WHS) Lead
BNE
Based in our Brisbane office, Belinda leads WGA’s health, safety and wellbeing strategy across the business. With over 15 years of experience in the construction, engineering, and financial services industries, she brings a practical, people-centred approach to managing Work Health and Safety (WHS) risk.
Belinda’s career is grounded in both strategy and practice. She has led WHS teams in complex, high-risk environments, supporting major projects through strong risk management, safety governance, and practical WHS solutions. Her knowledge of international standards for occupational health and safety and environmental management systems, including ISO 45001, has contributed to strengthening employee well-being and reducing psychological harm in the workplace.
Motivated by the interconnectedness of people, risk, and performance, Belinda helps businesses move from compliance to maturity by embedding risk management frameworks, strengthening psychological risk governance, and improving injury management in environments, especially where operational pressure intersects with wellbeing risk.
At WGA, Belinda values the opportunity to influence safety early and meaningfully. She strongly advocates for practical, human-centred safety conversations, ensuring safety is embedded in how we design, deliver, and lead our work, building capability so that strong safety and project delivery are mutually reinforcing.
Belinda is a member of the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA), an MHFA‑accredited practitioner, and a Lead and Psychosocial Incident Investigator with ICAM Australia.
