Kevin Kidd is an accomplished engineer, project manager, and digital transformation leader with over 25 years of experience across the UK and Australia. Curious, creative, and tech-savvy from a young age, he’s always been drawn to solving complex problems through innovative thinking and practical solutions.
Kevin began his career in civil and structural design, spending over 12 years developing deep technical expertise in the field. He then moved on to hold senior roles on major energy and infrastructure projects, where he led multidisciplinary teams and delivered value through strategic project management and digital integration.
During this time, he recognised the transformative potential of technology in the AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) industry—a realisation that sparked his shift toward digital transformation. Since then, Kevin has helped organisations enhance their digital strategies by integrating emerging technologies to optimise data use, streamline workflows, and improve project outcomes.
As Group Digital Engineering Manager, Kevin leads the development and execution of the WGA’s Digital Engineering Strategy. He is focused on embedding technology at every stage of the engineering lifecycle—from concept to delivery and beyond—with a mission to make engineering smarter, more efficient, and more impactful.
