With over 25 years of experience, Andrew is a civil and structural engineer whose expertise spans the resources, energy, ports and industrial sectors across Australia and the United Kingdom. He has led multidisciplinary design teams on complex infrastructure and industrial developments, including coal export terminals, mining and materials-handling facilities, hydrogen and energy projects, and heavy-industry upgrades.
Since joining in 2022, Andrew has established WGA’s presence in New South Wales and founded the Newcastle office. As Regional Manager, he provides strategic and operational leadership across the state and leads WGA’s Resources and Energy markets in NSW.
Looking ahead, Andrew is focused on strengthening WGA’s long-term position in New South Wales by growing a diverse, resilient and connected regional business. His priorities are to expand local capability and bring WGA’s national expertise to the state’s key growth markets of energy, ports and marine, resources, and transport—creating enduring value for clients and a sustainable platform for continued success in NSW.
Andrew combines a continuing passion for technical engineering with a strong commitment to people leadership. He mentors engineers at different career stages, develops high-performing teams and builds trusted, long-term client relationships.
Andrew is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Registered Professional Engineers of Queensland (RPEQ) and has a Master’s in Business Administration.
