Michael brings a wealth of experience to his role as structural drafting team leader in the Adelaide office. Drafting commercial and residential developments including multi-storey buildings, major retail centres and unit developments, Michael is responsible for resource management and training junior drafters.
As a structural drafter Michael oversees the culmination of an entire project, giving him the distinct advantage of being able to envisage potential problems before they arise. His perceptive problem solving skills, coupled with his 18+ years experience has equipped Michael with the expertise to be one step ahead, and offer clients out of the box solutions.
With an acute eye for detail Michael works with his team to adapt to new forward thinking solutions. Regularly attending industry events and training sessions, he maintains an up-to-date knowledge of the latest technology and industry progress. His insightful approach has seen him introduce new software programs and resources to the WGA drafting team, further ensuring they are leading the way in providing the highest client service possible.
Michael cites the Noarlunga GP Plus and The Memorial Hospital Upgrade projects as his most significant. He admires the contribution that such projects have on the local community, believing that when you create a space that makes a hospital stay more bearable and perhaps even shorten the time that a person has to spend there, it is immeasurably valuable.
