A generalist engineer, Simon’s expertise lies in the field of residential land development. He has built a versatile set of engineering skills, having worked for 23 years in wastewater, transport, defence, land development and streetscape projects.

Simon focuses on meeting the challenges faced in civil engineering, seeking cost effective and practical solutions for a broad range of clients. He enjoys the diverse landscape that civil engineering provides, allowing him a multi-faceted approach with clients, contractors and service authorities, as well as construction design, master planning and documentation.

His expertise has contributed to projects in South Australia, Northern Territory and New South Wales, building a broad relationship network with colleagues, external suppliers and contractors. A progressive approach to development in each of these States has presented Simon with the opportunity to work on long-term community projects such as Blakes Crossing, the new Royal Adelaide Hospital and Adelaide Airport Landside Development.

Driven by his desire to achieve a great result for his clients, Simon is inspired by complex projects; meticulously delving into every detail, whilst executing his innate ability to manage the project as a whole. He feels being involved in the holistic building process, from concept to completion enhances his appreciation for the project in its entirety and provides him with a platform to further gain an in-depth knowledge of all facets of civil engineering.
