Exciting new leadership update from Queensland!
Steve Pennisi has joined WGA as the Regional Manager for Queensland.
As a mechanical engineer from regional Queensland, with over 26 years of experience across engineering and project management, Steve has built an impressive career leading major infrastructure, water, energy, and resources projects across Australia and beyond.
Steve’s addition to the leadership team comes at an exciting time, as Russell Perry steps into a broader leadership role overseeing ports, industrial and resources markets across the East Coast and New Zealand, and Baden Harrison transitions into a Defence and Space leadership position – both focusing on ongoing growth across WGA regions. Russell and Baden started the WGA Queensland office 5 years ago and have built it into a trusted and recognised brand with a team across multiple markets and services.
Introducing Steve to the business, WGA’s Joint Managing Director, Ben Stapleton said, “Queensland presents a tremendous opportunity as we continue to grow WGA’s offering and service to clients. We are delighted to welcome Steve to the team and believe his leadership experience, technical depth and people-first approach will have a great impact on the future of the region.”
