Alex Lloyd is a Chartered Professional Engineer with over two decades of experience globally. He has spent the last 18 years growing with WGA and now plays a key leadership role as the Joint Regional Manager for South Australia. With a strong foundation in transport, urban development, and water infrastructure, Alex drives strategic growth across both established and emerging engineering sectors in the region.
Alex’s fascination with engineering began early, and studying Civil Engineering opened the door to a dynamic global career, solidifying his interest in the field. His experience extends across continents- from designing international airports in the Middle East to shaping urban landscapes in the UK and leading landmark infrastructure projects across Australia.
Widely respected for his leadership and technical acumen, Alex’s strength lies in his ability to lead civil projects from concept design through to construction delivery. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, encompassing feasibility, detailed design, documentation, construction supervision, contract administration, and superintendency.
Alex is also an active member of Engineers Australia, deeply committed to knowledge sharing, professional development, and engaging with other industry professionals.
